For buyers
Buying a home in Massachusetts
Whether it's your first condo or your fourth investment property, the process is the same six steps. Here's how it goes — and what I do at each one.
- 1
Talk it through
We start with a conversation: what you want, where you want it, and what you're comfortable spending. No commitment, no pressure.
- 2
Get pre-approved
A lender confirms what you can borrow. In a competitive market, sellers rarely take an offer seriously without it. I can point you to lenders worth talking to.
- 3
See homes
You get new listings the moment they hit the market, and we tour the ones worth your Saturday. I'll tell you what I'd want fixed before I bought it.
- 4
Make an offer
We look at real comparable sales, decide on a number and terms together, and I handle the negotiation.
- 5
Inspection and appraisal
An inspector goes through the house. If something serious turns up, we renegotiate or walk — that's what the contingency is for.
- 6
Close
Final walkthrough, paperwork at the closing table, keys in your hand. I'm there for all of it.
First time buying?
Massachusetts has down payment assistance and first-time buyer programs that a lot of people never hear about. Ask me — it's worth ten minutes of your time to find out whether you qualify.
Buyer consultation
Start with a conversation
Tell me roughly what you're looking for and where you are in the process. I'll come back with honest expectations on price, timing, and what's realistic in your target neighborhoods — and set you up to get matching listings by email.
